Background
Within Moss Veterinary there is a requirement for the Vet's to produce prescriptions of the medication they are administering. The system they had was out of support, clunky, was client server based, and needed a number of enhancements. The client wanted to replace the system with a more modern one and on that basis had requested a number of system enhancements. These enhancements included

Solution
A review of the existing system allowed us to create a new data model of their requirements within SQL. Layout and functionality were all configured using our templates and then the Rage platform was used to generate the application. A fully functional application was presented to the client to test and review and an iterative process of changes and modifications continued until the client was happy with the final result.
Results
The resulting application meet or exceeded the requirements of the client and has now given them a basis to further develop the system to manage the sales fulfillment process for their products. They are also discussing with us the development of an integrated CRM within the application to replace what they currently use. In time we believe that this will be a single system that will have improved (automated) work processes substantially and removed the reliance on 3 – 4 different applications that were in place to do the same job.
